We would like to thank you for really getting behind this year's summer activity.

The competition is really on now to see who will win £500 from Crossgates Shopping Centre and a class trip to Stockeld Park. The receipt boxes have really started to fill up, next time you are in the centre take a look to see how your school is doing.

How it works

You can help your School Win £500 and a class trip to Stockeld Park. 

Crossgates Shopping Centre will have School’s Cash In Box in the Centre (it has a big arrow on the top) that will be in the centre throughout July, August and early September.

All schools included in the competition have their own slot in the School’s box. Please note: other local schools were invited to join the competition, Crossgates Primary School, Temple Newsam Halton, Whitkirk Primary School, Austhorpe Primary School, Colton Primary School and St Theresa's Primary School have all confirmed they would like to take part. The date has now closed for schools to enter, the closing date was Friday 22 June.

When you spend in Crossgates Shopping Centre throughout July, August & early September, choose the school you would like to win and pop your receipt in the school box.

Look out for our bonus days and events in the centre – on these days you can earn extra points!

Every receipt posted earns a point for your chosen school. The schools with the most points on the closing date of Friday 14^th September at 5:30pm will be winner.

Winners will be announced on 21^st September 2012 at our 45^th birthday party.

Terms and conditions

1) Entries will be accepted from 1^st July 2012 to 14^th September 2012. The closing date for receipt of all entries is 14th September 2012. Entries arriving after the closing date will not be accepted. All entries are subject to these terms and conditions.

2) The competition is open to UK and ROI residents.

3) The following schools are involved in the promotion: Crossgates Primary School, Temple Newsam Halton, Whitkirk Primary School, Austhorpe Primary School, Colton Primary School, St Theresa’s Primary School.

4) To enter the competition, entrants must post a valid receipt from a shop within Crossgates Shopping Centre in to one of the school drop boxes on centre square between 1^st July 2012 and 14^th September 2012. If you wish to keep your receipt you can pick up a token from any shop within the centre and post the token in to one of the school drop boxes on centre square. The Crossgates Shopping Centre will not accept responsibility for any entries not received. The Shopping Centre’s decision is final.

5) Each token/receipt counts for 1 point for chosen school.

6) There is one first prize, the winning school will be informed by telephone or email on 17^th September to visit the Crossgates Shopping Centre on the 21^st September to collect their prize.

7) The winning school will receive £500 for their school and a class trip to Stockheld Park, Wetherby for a class of up to 30 children, 1 adult must attend for every 5 children, this is included within the prize. Transport is not provided and will need to be arranged and paid for by the winning school.

8) The winning school will be announced on the website www.crossgates-shopping.co.uk, on centre information notice boards and will be available by sending an SAE to the Promoter within 28 days after the closing date. Entrants agree to the use of their personal data in this way. All personal data relating to the promotion will be used by Crossgates Shopping Centre and third parties solely for the purposes referred to in this paragraph and for the distribution of the prize and will not be used for future direct marketing purposes. The winning school will be asked to agree to take part in Crossgates Shopping Centre advertising and any relevant public relations exercises undertaken by Crossgates Shopping Centre.

9) The Promoter is Centre Management Office, Crossgates Shopping Centre, Crossgates, Leeds, LS15 8ET, which is responsible for all personal data submitted. Do not write to the foregoing address for entry to the promotion.
