Halloween Competition Winners Revealed
Crossgates Halloween Colouring competition has come to a close and just in time too!
The centre was inundated with entry forms and it proved to be very difficult to pick just one winner.
The overall winner was announced as Becky Gordon, aged 13 from Leeds, who has won a cool mountain bike donated by The Bike Shop.
The centre also decided that 2 runners up would be drawn as there were that many great entries!
Louis Tyler Howick, from Rothwell and James Lenighan, from Crossgates, won £25 of vouchers each to spend at a store of their choice in the centre. Being boys, and being cool boys, they have both decided to get Game Station vouchers.
The Crossgates Shopping Centre would like to thank The Bike Shop for donating the main prize and hopes that future competitions, which run throughout the year, are as popular as this one, with lots more entries coming in!

After the launch of the Crossgates Recycle Zone, the centre collected a total 150 tonne of recycle waste that day.
On Saturday 28th August, Bob the Builder will be making special appearances in the Centre from 10am!

Raffle tickets were sold to shoppers throughout the day and from this Crossgates managed to raise £126 for their chosen charity, St Gemma's Hospice!

A highly skilled (and often very hot!) performer is inside Bjorn operating all the movements including the facial animations - blinking eyes, sniffing nose, opening mouth and also the live sounds from our custom built sound equiptment.
The keeper characters are dressed in an Inuit style outfit to compliment the arctic theme, and act as an intermediary between the audience and the Polar Bear, distributing interesting facts and related chat.

Crossgates Shopping Centre hosted a fantastic FREE Easter Egg Hunt competition from 23rd March - 3rd April. All shoppers had to do was match the eggs around the Centre to the ones on the entry form.
Crossgates’ new store PC Friend is launching their opening with a fun and interactive Easter Egg Hunt with all monies raised going to Crossgates Community Centre. Children are encouraged to come to the store at the Centre and spot the Easter egg images hiding throughout the Centre.
